Trey McCall joins Sectigo as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Enterprise Sales and Marketing
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., — May 6, 2024 — Sectigo®, the industry’s most innovative provider of comprehensive certificate lifecycle management (CLM), today announced the newest member of its leadership team with the appointment of Trey McCall as SVP of Worldwide Enterprise Sales and Marketing.
McCall will be responsible for bringing the company’s enterprise functions into one, including enterprise sales and marketing. He joins Sectigo with nearly 30 years' experience in technology and software, including a progression of leadership roles at Ping Identity, MobileIron, Ten-X, Avaya, and Dell. He will leverage his extensive experience and core capabilities in strategy development, commercial leadership, and market analytics to drive growth and maximize revenue opportunities for the company.
"I am thrilled to join Sectigo at such an exciting time in its growth journey," said McCall. "Sectigo's commitment to innovation and delivering superior digital identity solutions, including its cutting-edge Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, presents a tremendous opportunity for revenue expansion and market leadership. I look forward to collaborating with the talented team at Sectigo to drive sustainable growth and create value for our customers and partners."
McCall comes to Sectigo from Ping Identity, a $300 million identity management software company, where he served as VP of growth and enterprise sales. At Ping Identity, he built and cultivated a team from inception to 60+ across the Americas, including account executives, sales, marketing, and technical resources, earning recognition as the fastest growing segment within the company. McCall collaborated on multiple new routes and offerings to the market, enabling positive valuation for a successful exit from Vista, and ultimately a $2.8 billion sale to Thoma Bravo. As a result of these transformational efforts Ping successfully shifted their model to modern SaaS and channel led sales.
"Not only does Trey bring extensive experience in accelerating revenue growth and driving commercial success, but he also embodies the innovative spirit and strategic vision that aligns perfectly with Sectigo's mission of delivering certificate lifecycle management for organizations of all sizes," said Kevin Weiss, CEO of Sectigo. "His appointment reinforces our commitment to delivering best-in-class digital trust solutions and further strengthening our position as the leader in the industry."
