Sectigo IoT Identity Manager Short Listed for SC Awards Europe’s Best IoT/IIOT Security Solution Award
We are very happy to announce that Sectigo IoT Identity Manager has made the short list for SC Magazine’s SC Awards Europe in the Best IoT/IIoT Security Solution category.
The Sectigo IoT Identity Platform removes the complexity associated with securing and authenticating connected devices, so that enterprises can protect their infrastructure in a way that is scalable, cost-effective, and easy to manage. The platform also enables OEMs and their supply chain to harden devices, from the point of manufacture, ensuring secure updates and management throughout device lifecycles.
The award nomination highlighted two case studies, including the use Sectigo’s IoT security platform by WiMAX Forum. Through implementation of Sectigo’s IoT Manager, WiMAX Forum was able to utilize PKI for their 4G telecommunications ecosystem, enabling airlines, airports, air traffic control, aviation companies, and authorities to deploy AeroMACS (Aeronautical Mobile Airport Communication System) across their devices and servers in order to exchange secure communications without the risk of malicious interference.
“With Sectigo, we’re really getting a trusted partner with the forward-thinking ability to help keep AeroMACS secure and sustainable into the future,” explained Declan Bryne, President of the WiMAX Forum.
Abul Salek, our Director of Product Management for IoT, PKI, and SSL was thrilled about the SC Award accolade and said that, “Making the SC shortlist is no easy feat. This recognition is a reflection of our team’s ability to deliver innovative and highly relevant cybersecurity solutions for both enterprise and embedded use cases—keeping critical industries and their customers safe. We congratulate our category peers, Barracuda, Claroty, Nozomi Networks, and Tripwire, and look forward to celebrating the great work of everyone in our industry in June, when category winners will be announced.”
