Sectigo Acquires Two Top International SSL Partners
If there is one word that best describes Sectigo's mission, it is "evolution."
Today, our company demonstrates, once again, how it continues to evolve and grow strategically by announcing the acquisition of two of Sectigo's leading SSL partners in Europe, SSL247 and Xolphin.
Through these transactions, Sectigo significantly expands our sales reach, as well as customer support, for our automated cybersecurity solutions, including the Sectigo Web Security Platform and Sectigo Certificate Manager, to thousands of additional organizations across Europe and Latin America.
These acquisitions make strategic sense for several reasons—including synergy, familiarity, and expansion opportunity. By bringing these companies into the Sectigo fold, we're further broadening our global footprint for support and validation, while providing additional resources to our customers and partners. Likewise, we will expand our support and validation capabilities to nearly 20 languages.
SSL247 is a long-time Sectigo channel partner with nearly two decades of experience selling and supporting SSL certificates, vulnerability assessments, digital IDs (email, code signing, IoT certificates), pen tests and audits, data protection, and other security solutions. As part of Sectigo, SSL247 will offer its customers and partners even more value and additional solutions, and continue to grow its reputation for providing a white-glove customer experience.
For nearly two decades, Xolphin has been recognized as a leader in securing online communications. The company has issued more than a million certificates to more than 50,000 customers in Europe and has an active global reseller network. As part of our organization, Xolphin will continue to build on its five-star ratings for support and rapid Extended Validation (EV) certificate validation.
Given their individual brands' strengths in their markets, both organizations' websites and business operations will continue to operate as separate business units and are now known as Sectigo Companies.
This move marks a significant milestone in our company's history. We continue to see record demand, continued growth, and now with SSL247 and Xolphin in our family, we can expand our reach and improve on our award-winning support.
