ROSELAND, NJ December 3, 2019 – Development teams are moving faster. Container lifetimes continue to shorten, while usage explodes. At the same time, software and web app vulnerabilities remain the leading cause of external breaches – and containers are just as vulnerable, with many of the top images housing serious vulnerabilities. To help developers tackle these challenges, on December 6th, Sectigo will host “Unleashing Speed and Scale in DevSecOps,” a complimentary webinar designed to guide DevSecOps teams in improving security, reliability, interoperability, and compliance, while eliminating worry about downtime.

WHAT: Ensuring secure connections between containers and that you have the latest images are two layers of defense – but how can you do that efficiently in an environment of short container lifetimes and large-scale deployments? Presenters will examine how to achieve greater speed and scale with PKI, including the use of containerization and encryption, via practices such as:

  • Integrating PKI to protect containers and the code within them
  • Automatically leveraging public SSL certificates for load balancers and web server setup using DevOps tools
  • Quick and reliable certificate issuance, revocation, and replacement at scale
  • Visibility into the entire certificate lifecycle through a single interface
