ROSELAND, N.J. – March 5, 2019 – Sectigo, the world’s largest commercial Certificate Authority and a leader in web security solutions, has been recognized in four categories of Cyber Defense Magazine’s InfoSec Awards. Winners will be recognized at the 2019 RSA Conference in San Francisco, where Sectigo is demonstrating its enterprise web security solutions at Booth #2333.

  • Sectigo CEO Bill Holtz has been awarded Most Innovative Chief Executive of the Year
  • Sectigo Certificate Manager earned the Hot Company Identity Management InfoSec Award
  • Sectigo IoT Manager was selected for Publisher's Choice Internet of Things (IoT) Security
  • Sectigo’s Zero-Touch S/MIME solution earned the Next Gen Deep Sea Phishing InfoSec Award

“Sectigo is focused on developing solutions that effectively address the scale and complexities of the cybersecurity threats of today, and tomorrow,” said Bill Holtz, CEO, Sectigo. “We are honored that the InfoSec Awards panel of judges have recognized several of our enterprise solutions, including our IoT Manager and our Certificate Manager platforms, as well as our newest Zero-Touch deployment S/MIME solution.”

Bill Holtz became CEO of Sectigo, formerly Comodo CA, at a pivotal time in the business. Chartered with rebranding the company and venturing into new markets, Holtz assembled an executive team of industry veterans and built a forward-thinking culture that has inspired Sectigo to uncover new approaches that bring tremendous value to customers. Under his leadership, Sectigo has built upon the company’s existing 20-year legacy and accelerated product innovation.

Sectigo Certificate Manager enables enterprises to have complete control over their environment along with the tools, support, and capabilities to significantly reduce risk, quickly respond to threats and control operational costs. The digital identity platform leverages the same Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technology that is used by governments and financial institutions, providing enterprises with three layers of protection: authentication, encryption, and a digital signature.

IoT Manager is a premier IoT device security platform for enterprises, designed to protect devices and networks against cyberattacks. Sectigo’s platform ensures that only authenticated and approved devices are connecting to the correct, corresponding private network or ecosystem, reducing the risk that IoT devices can be compromised, endanger people’s lives or privacy, or be used in DDoS or hacking attacks.

Sectigo’s Industry First Zero-Touch S/MIME solution, modernizes email encryption and digital signing to help enterprises combat increasingly prevalent business email compromise (BEC) attacks. Unlike traditional S/MIME certificate deployments, which place the burden on the user to participate in manual certificate and key management for desktop and mobile devices, Zero-Touch deployment automates email identity management with a frictionless solution.

The InfoSec Awards highlight companies that create the most respected information security products and services, selecting winners who offer the most innovative and proactive cybersecurity solutions to combat the growing threat of cybercrime.

“Companies are looking to stop breaches and get one step ahead of the next threat. Our magazine has recognized Sectigo because their CEO and solutions are innovating in the industry to help organizations defeat the next generation of exploiters,” said Pierluigi Paganini, Editor-in-Chief, Cyber Defense Magazine.
